Summer Library Program 2021
Explore the animal world with us!
June 16 – August 20
Growing minds need to keep reading during the summer.
Our free and fun events are a great way to stay motivated to read!
There will be one event per month AND
one Grab & Go project per month.
This summer, to safely gather together,
we are moving our June and July events outside!
We want to keep adults, teens, and kids
engaged in reading throughout their lives.
Our Summer Library Program is designed to
encourage reading and make it fun,
and this summer it is for all ages!
(Ages 3 to 103)
For every hour of reading logged, the
Friends of the Galesville Public Library
will donate 25¢ to the
Trempealeau County Humane Society.
Log your reading on Beanstack (see below).
Join us for an online reading program called Beanstack! It’s a fun program designed to engage ALL ages in exploring new ideas, books, & activities.
(Provided by a grant from the Wisconsin Dept. of Public Instruction.)
As you read and engage in the activities, you are eligible to win “badges” and prizes! The best way to track your progress is through the Beanstack app or website. Beginning June 16, you can start recording your reading time and participate in the activities, located exclusively in Beanstack.
Register at galesville.beanstack.org to use the web version
or use the Beanstack Tracker mobile app!
Registration opens May 24.
If the online experience isn’t right for your family, we will be happy to offer you the paper reading logs with stickers, as in years past!
was lots of fun!
Volunteers and staff from the
Trempealeau County Humane
Society spread out
at different “stations”.
We got to pet the animals and learn about them!
The TCHS also had activities and gifts for us.
