Job Search Resources
- The library has several books available on job hunting, resume writing, and interviewing.
- We have a small jobs area in the library with newsletters and calendars from the Department of Workforce Development.
- You also have the opportunity to make an appointment with a job counselor. Myron Daubert, a career/employment counselor for the State of Wisconsin, is available to help you with any career or employment related questions you might have. During the current “stay in place” orders he is temporarily pausing his meeting with folks at libraries, but he is very open to talking with you through a scheduled appointment over the phone, or in a one-on-one Skype meeting. Also, he will be having a regular Skype “Job Club Fridays” from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (except for May 1). If you would like to be added to the invite list for the Skype “Job Club” meetings (you can attend or not as you wish when you get the notice of the meeting) just contact Myron. To set up an appointment for a phone call or one-on-one Skype meeting with Myron (or get invites to “Job Club” meetings) you can contact him at: myron.daubert@dwd.wisconsin.gov or 608-789-5637.
